The way in which man has left its mark in the built environment now attracts my interest more than untainted natural landscape. With photographic images we can work in many disparate areas and investigate issues close to out hearts while at the same time dealing with purely visual elements. Photography seems to mirror a journey through life, always exploring broad new avenues or dark narrow alleyways, always thinking now is the perfect moment, but still looking forward to next time. And yet, as with all journeys, the more you find out, the less you feel you know, the more you see the less you realise you have truly seen.
